We Are Always Seeking Additional Staff To Support Our Progrqams

Currently we are looking for Travel Ball Coaches, a Social Media Manager and Fundraising Manager. Position requirements are listed below. 

TRAVEL TEAM COACH

positions involve travel to area tournaments for the upcoming Spring and/or Fall seasons. There will be 1-2 practices during the week and 6-9 weekend tournaments. Coach should be very responsible person who loves kids, grades 4-12. Position is part-time, varied hours/days including practice in the evening and weekends.

Description 

  • Provide basketball instruction and coaching to improve player development.
  • Adjust programs based on skill levels and provide an engaging program for every child.
  • Build team development and communication thru activities and drills.
  • Assess and communicate positively to parent/player to provide recommendations for areas of improvement.
  • Coach will have a primary team, but expected to help other teams with coach absences where possible.

Requirements

  • 2-years specific basketball coaching experience or playing competitively.
  • Complete and maintain coaching licensing for any applicable tournament organizations or NCAA play. These must be updated yearly.
  • Must be energetic, patient, good with youth, and knowledgeable about as well as proficient in basketball.
  • Must have the ability to work with and relate to parents.
  • Must be good communicators, strong motivators and positive role models.
  • Valid Driver’s License

Coaches will receive either a stipend or discounted player registration.


SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Description 

  • Part-time position.
  • Manage Liberty Edge social media year-round.
  • Responsible for several posts per week with travel ball season being busiest.
  • Provide creative ideas for posts.
  • Goal: Increase social media following and program registrations.
  • Create a simple social media schedule and communicate with Marketing Director and Program Director.

Requirements

  • Relevant social media experience.
  • Organized, but creative person.
  • Must be energetic, patient, good with youth and have the ability to work with parents.
  • Knowledgeable about basic social media etiquette and practices.
  • Must be good communicators.
  • Valid Driver’s License

Hourly compensation provided.


FUNDRAISING MANAGER

Description 

  • Part-time position.
  • Create, develop and manage most aspects of fundraising campaigns.
  • Obtain both business and individual sponsorships.
  • Assess and communicate positively to parents/players.

Requirements

  • Relative fundraising or sponsorship management experience not necessary, but preferred.
  • Maintain any sponsorship platforms and/or reporting.
  • Must be energetic, patient, good with youth, and parents.
  • Must be good communicator, organized and motivated.
  • Valid Driver’s License

Compensation will be dependent on experience and performance.
